Announcing 13 new models in the LUMIX range to suit users from families to travellers, professional photographers to new users who want reliable point and shoot function, Panasonic reported record “value” growth for their LUMIX range during the past quarter.
Speaking at the Australian launch of their new LUMIX compact and camcorder range Paul Reid, Director, Consumer Electronics Group, Panasonic Australia said that 2009 had been Panasonic's most successful year in the local digital camera market.
Popular with consumers, Panasonic's LUMIX cameras use Intelligent Auto Mode(iA), that makes complex decisions for you so you don’t have to change settings every time shooting conditions change. The 13 new models include the flagship LUMIX TZ series – the ultimate travel cameras, the new, more rugged LUMIX FT2 for the active photographer, LUMIX FX68 with the latest lens technology, feature-rich LUMIX ZR3 with AVCHD Lite High Definition Video, new LUMIX FP series, the everyday, family-friendly FH series and the entry-level F Series of point-and-shoot cameras.
Plus for those who want to record the action, there are two new compact camcorders with 78x Optical Zoom, the Panasonic SDR-S50 and the SDR-H85 with 80GB HDD so you can capture all of life's moments with a camera you can trust.
